The art collector also said that she loved small bags, unlike Gauri, who had a stylish and practical approach towards fashion. Shalini also revealed that she would steal Seema Sajdeh’s bag. Shalini quipped:
“I would love to know what all is in her bag because I really like Seema.”

On the show Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives, Shalini revealed, in a chat with Zoom TV, that she had a great bond with Bollywood’s megastar Shah Rukh Khan and his entire family. SRK and Shalini’s husband, Sanjay, studied together at Hansraj College. Gauri was Sanjay’s neighbour, and Shah Rukh and Sanjay studied together in school and college. Shalini’s son and Aryan went to university together. They have been more like family friends, and for Shalini, Gauri’s family, especially her brother, sister-in-law, and mom, are close to her. She quipped:
“When I got engaged, the first person I went to meet was Gauri’s mother, before I was even engaged. Sanjay said, ‘This is my family, these are your in-laws.'”

The glitzy Bollywood wife, Shalini, also said that Bollywood Baadshah, SRK’s wife, Gauri, has a kind nature. Her father was in the army, and Shalini feels that the interior designer is like her father. She is calm and composed, takes care of the family and is a good human being. Shalini could not stop praising Gauri and said she is fantastic to her friends, family, and everybody and is also understanding. Shalini feels that Gauri has inherited good qualities from her dad, whom Shalini adores.
