What’s going on with Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen??
The pair’s unhealthy relationship was put in the spotlight on the premiere season of Hulu‘s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Shortly after the season dropped, Taylor started posting about starting a “new chapter” of her life and her pals sent her sweet messages in the comments, seemingly confirming a split.

Well, in September, the reality star told Us Weekly things were still really complicated for the couple, who welcomed their first child Ever together in March. She dished:
“I would say we’re working on things, and I actually have no idea where it goes with us from here. We are not fully together, but not fully done. I don’t know what the future holds with him and I.”
Not fully done, no. Not yet. It looked like they had rekindled things last month, but this latest social media activity would suggest otherwise. At least if you’re going off Taylor’s post.
On Saturday, the MomTok star shared a bunch of professional photos with her kids and family members as her “Christmas card” on Instagram — but fans noticed she very clearly cropped out her on-again, off-again boyfriend! Look at the third slide here. Dakota’s sneakers can be seen in a pic, but he’s neither tagged nor fully visible in the post. Oof! Check it out:

Here’s the craziest thing: Dakota shared pics from the same session — and he included the full fam! In the caption, he gushed about Taylor, Ever, and Taylor’s two kids from a previous relationship, saying:

Wow!
He doesn’t even hold a special place on her IG feed! Even more confusing, Taylor commented on the post (despite neither of them following each other anymore), reacting:
Huh… What does this all mean? FWIW, the cringing emojis seem to refer to the photos she’s in, sooo… guess that proves she’s not all in on him anymore?! Clearly, Dakota’s not ready to totally call it quits, though. Not him posting the receipts right after to prove he was there, too! LOLz!
Hopefully, their ever-evolving dynamic will be explored in the new season of the show next year so we get some clarity. Reactions? Sound OFF (below).
